Medical Bariatric Attending – Part-time (0.5 FTE) with Full Benefits

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated Medical Bariatric Attendings to join our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical care for bariatric patients
• Collaborate with surgical, nutritional, and behavioral health teams
• Participate in patient education, follow-up, and management
• Engage in quality improvement and program development initiatives

Qualifications

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Endocrinology, or with the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM)
• Experience in bariatric medicine or obesity management preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse urban healthcare environment

Compensation And Benefits

• Annual base salary: $126,000
• 403(b)/457 participation with a 10% employer contribution (no employee match required)
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) reimbursement of $3,000–$3,500, including one week of paid CME time
• Projected annual revenue sharing payments of up to $30,000 (contingent upon meeting productivity and compliance metrics)
