- Formal training from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- CPR Certification
- PC/Windows proficiency
- Medical coding familiarity
- Willingness to prioritize patient comfort and satisfaction
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work compatibly with physicians, coworkers, and employees in other departments
