  • Perform administrative and clinical duties under the direct supervision of a medical provider (physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner) in the medical office setting.
  • Work closely with the physician in the office clinical setting, assist with direct patient care, and serve as the clinical liaison between physician and patient and between physician and the office staff.
  • Provide radiology function as part of the role.
  • Promote communications among all care providers, patients, and office staff regarding the care plan for the patient as defined by the attending physician.
  • Attend to patients utilizing age-appropriate principles of growth and development for patients of all ages according to the practice.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduate of a medical assistant program or one year as a Medical Assistant
  • One of: LXMO or LXMOT or RAD or RADT – Must obtain RAD within 6 months of hire if currently hold RADT

Desired:

  • One year as a Medical Assistant
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Certified Medical Assistant
