Medical Assistant - Wilmington Pediatrics, 40 hours/ week

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of high quality, safe clinical care.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Providers to enhance patient satisfaction and provider efficiency.
• Work with Healthcare Providers to manage daily needs and schedules to ensure timely patient care.
• Take patient vital signs and document medical history in the EMR system.
• Provide patients and families with medical information to improve patient satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an Accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Obtain Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA) within 6 months of employment.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.

Pay

• $21.00 - $28.26 per hour.
• Actual compensation may exceed the base hourly rate based on various factors including shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices.

Schedule

• 40 hours per week.
