Responsibilities
- Assist the provider with rooming, interviewing, taking vitals, providing accurate documentation in EHR and processing forms to include referrals, prescriptions, etc.
- Responsible for bracing and casting as ordered by physician.
- Manage daily maintenance of the surgery schedule and aspects of the scheduling process.
- Ensure the clinic runs efficiently by being reliable, self-motivated, having excellent people skills, and working both front and back office as needed.
- Triage patient calls, authorizations, keep exam rooms cleaned and restocked, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- RMA Certification preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of electronic health records (Epic) a plus.
- Orthopedic experience preferred but not required.
- Worker's Compensation knowledge is a plus.
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED) required.
