Position Overview The Medical Assistant II (MA II) supports patient care under a licensed practitioner's delegation, performing clinical duties aligned with established policies and regulations. This onsite role requires the candidate to be within commuting distance of Plainview, TX, and involves working full-time during daytime shifts. Key Responsibilities Assist with patient care tasks, including vital signs, injections, and medication administrationPerform clinical procedures competently in the assigned clinic/locationAdhere to organizational policies, procedures, and safety standardsCollaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality careMaintain accurate documentation and patient records Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited school with hands-on clinical training or completion of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship programOr at least one year of medical assistant experience with clinical skills such as vital signs, injections, and medication administrationMilitary medical training of two years or more is acceptableCurrent BLS certification within 30 days of hireMinimum of 6 months healthcare and medical assistant experiencePreferred: National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire Additional Details Must be fully vaccinated and compliant with organizational standardsOffers a comprehensive benefits package supporting professional growth and well-being
