Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs through history, observation, and analysis of diagnostic data.
• Perform direct patient care, prepare patients for examinations, and conduct specialized tests and procedures.
• Administer medications and provide patient education.
• Schedule appointments and handle telephone consultations.
• Ensure clean and well-equipped examination rooms.
• Manage medical supplies and contribute to departmental QA projects.
• Foster a positive practice environment through continuous learning and teamwork.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent from an accredited school.
• At least one year of experience in a physician’s office or other clinical setting.
• Must be Registered or State Certified as a Medical Assistant with an accrediting board.
