About the role

The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is the initial point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a positive and efficient patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage front desk operations and workflows
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry
• Handle inquiries and concerns with empathy and tact
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies
• Work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing situations
• Attend and complete Clinic Core Front Desk Training post-hire

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including data entry and word processing
• Excellent customer service skills
• Empathetic and patient-focused
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow privacy policy/procedure
• Adaptable and able to work effectively under pressure
• Physical requirements: Push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, stand and walk during each shift, grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties

Qualifications

• One year of applicable medical office experience preferred

Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in basic computer skills, excellent customer service skills, empathy, patience, accuracy, attention to detail, confidentiality, and adaptability.
