Responsibilities
- Check vitals and reconcile medications.
- Enter and update medical history within the EMR (Medent).
- Auxiliary support to physicians during procedures.
- Set up procedures for physicians and nursing staff.
- Communicate relevant patient information for personalized care.
- Perform blood draws as needed.
- Stock and clean exam and procedure rooms daily.
- Demonstrate professional behavior and adhere to office policies.
Requirements
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Social perceptiveness and customer service orientation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective organizational and planning skills.
- Preferred proficiency in Medent, but not required.
- A degree in medical assisting or one year of experience as a medical assistant is required.
Pay
From $18.00 per hour
