Medical Assistant, Pediatric Travel Team - Shift Times Vary

• Take patients to rooms, greet patients, and obtain vital signs.
• Schedule appointments and assist with medical procedures.
• Answer phones, perform phlebotomy, and handle clerical & computer work.
• Obtain lab specimens and manage prior authorizations.
• Adhere to safety and infection guidelines.
• Perform billing and coding tasks.
• Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) and fax documents.
• Calculate and administer medications & vaccinations.
• Complete Disability and FMLA paperwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a medical assistant program or one year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
