Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist

About the role
As a Medical Assistant, you will provide treatment to patients and build positive relationships while handling day-to-day lab operations with precision. Flexibility with late hours, some weekends, and a friendly attitude are essential. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with providers and patients and is eager to make an impact in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual vitals, routine blood draws, and administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections per the provider's request.
- Maintain lab equipment, document all lab results, and ensure quality controls are met.
- Run labs in-house or prepare them for external facilities with proper lab orders for each patient.
- Manage weekly inventory, ordering, and communication among team members.
- Assist with front desk duties as needed.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Physical proof of High School diploma or GED (required).
- Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 months of relevant work experience in a medical setting or documented completion of 180 extern hours.
- Ability to perform venipuncture and intramuscular/subcutaneous injections (preferred).
- Basic computer skills.
Schedule
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Up to 3 Saturdays a month: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (with a weekday off when Saturday is worked).
Pay
$21 per hour.
