Role Overview The Medical Assistant (MA II) supports patient care under the delegation of a licensed practitioner, performing clinical duties aligned with established policies and procedures. Fully competent in all aspects of the MA I role, the MA II assists in providing comprehensive patient care within assigned clinics or locations. Key Responsibilities Perform clinical tasks such as obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.Assist licensed practitioners with patient care activities.Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited medical assistant training program, registered medical assistant program, or military medical training, or have at least one year of relevant clinical experience.Minimum six months of healthcare and medical assistant experience.Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.Preferred: National Medical Assistant Certification.
