About the role
Full-time position available.
Responsibilities
- Complete clinical and administrative tasks within the clinic.
- Work alongside the provider to ensure patient care and clinic operations.
- Room and prepare patients according to clinic-specific checklists or procedures.
- Measure patient vital signs such as weight, height, oxygen saturation, respiration, temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other patient care as needed.
- Document required patient care information including Medical Histories, referral requests, etc.
- Assist with day-to-day operations as required for optimal patient care.
Requirements
- Credentialed Medical Assistant:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Credentialed as a Medical Assistant from an approved Munson Healthcare Credentialing Organization.
- BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.
- Non-Credentialed Medical Assistant:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- One year (1) relevant experience working in a physician practice or similar healthcare setting in a provider/patient support role.
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program approved by Munson healthcare.
- BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.

Additional Information
- Munson Healthcare requires all employees to be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella.
- All employees must receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
