Medical Assistant- Medical Specialties - 40 hours, day shift
About the Role
Under the general supervision of the Practice Administrator, Director of Site Operations, or assigned Nurse Manager/Site Manager, you will provide direct and indirect care to a specified group of patients in a variety of ambulatory settings. Medical Assistants work in collaboration with physicians, other healthcare providers, ambulatory support staff, and other disciplines to deliver patient care in a multispecialty outpatient location in Londonderry, NH.
Responsibilities
- Perform medical assistant functions within the scope of your training, including obtaining vitals, height, weight, SPO2, and blood pressure for all patients and documenting appropriately in patient charts.
- Assist physicians with minor procedures.
- Prepare exam rooms and restock supplies.
- Coordinate patient care with other providers and/or facilities.
- Conduct telephone triage.
- Render patient care in ambulatory medical specialties.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
- Medical Office or outpatient experience preferred.
- Medical Assistant Certificate preferred; B.L.S. (Basic Life Support) required.
Pay
The base hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $28.26. Actual compensation is determined based on factors such as seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, and other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices.
