Medical Assistant (MA) Primary Care Farmington Hills

About the role

Will consider an MA II. Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and motivated Medical Assistant to support our providers in delivering exceptional patient care. In this role, you'll work directly with patients within our Behavioral Health Service Center and help create a positive healthcare experience every day.

Responsibilities

• Indirect work support managing tasks
• Test tracking
• Performs moderate to complex Gaps in Care.
• Support within scope and prior authorizations.
• Quality control, lab logs, practice audits.
• OSHA safety rep: keeps protocols and staff updated.
• Transcribes patient exam information, diagnosis and plan into medical record.
• Assists with specialty specific tasks after completion of training.

Requirements

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED. Successful completion of accredited/approved: MA program and MA Externship; MA Internship; EMT program; Paramedic program; or Certified Athletic Trainer. If credentialed, maintains current MA Re-Certification CEUs.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 0-1 year previous clinical experience or
