Responsibilities

• Provide superior patient care in a clinic-based environment.
• Perform administrative and delegated clinical tasks to support patients as part of a care team led by a physician and/or advanced practice provider.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree.
• Graduation from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
• Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care.
• Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
