Job Summary
Location: Seguin, TX (not San Antonio). This medical office position provides direct nursing care under the direction of a physician, assists medical providers, and maintains a clean and safe environment in accordance with practice policies. Includes a $1,000 sign‑on bonus for new hires.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the assessment of patient needs and health plan.
- Complete all necessary documentation in the patient’s medical record according to the practice’s charting policy.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians with medical treatments, exams, and procedures.
- Arrange specialized consultations and appointments for testing as ordered by physicians.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma/GED required with completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program, or three years of relevant work experience in lieu of the program.
- Certification: CPR certification required; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of relevant work experience, or three years of relevant work experience in lieu of program completion.
