Pay
Salary range: $19.00 – $29.50 per hour
Sign‑on bonus available for eligible applicants
About the role
Join our cancer center as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) on the ambulatory nursing care team. You will provide quality, holistic care to oncology patients, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice Provider, or Physician, and may serve as the primary nurse for a provider within your scope of practice.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
- Document a thorough medical history from patients.
- Contribute to patient assessments and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
- Provide technical support to healthcare professionals.
- Counsel patients and families, under RN direction, on prevention and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Hold an unencumbered LPN license with the state nursing board (or multi‑state licensure privileges).
- If IV therapy/management is required, meet North Dakota requirements: graduation from a Board‑approved AASPN program with IV therapy curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
