VMH has a full-time opening for a Medical Assistant. This position is based primarily at the La Farge clinic, with occasional travel to other Vernon Health clinic locations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Rooming patients and preparing them for examination
- Taking and accurately recording vital signs
- Assisting nurses and providers with clinical and clerical duties
- Supporting various laboratory procedures as needed
Schedule
- Four-day workweek with a Saturday morning rotation
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or LPN Program required
- Current CPR certification required
- Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Minimum starting wage of $20.53 per hour, with higher rates based on experience
