Medical Assistant / LPN - Central Clinic

Baton Rouge General is seeking a dedicated and skilled LPN to join their medical clinic team. This position offers a meaningful impact in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs and health histories
• Administering medications and injections as ordered
• Assisting with minor procedures and treatments
• Cooking patient care and follow-up
• Providing education and support to patients and families
• Documenting accurately in the electronic medical record

Requirements

• Current LPN license in the state of Louisiana
• BLS certification (required)
• Previous clinic or ambulatory care experience preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and clinical skills
• A team player who's passionate about patient-centered care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited LPN program
• Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
