Medical Assistant/LPN

About the role

Health/Falls Community Health has an exciting opportunity available for Medical Assistants or Licensed Practical Nurses. The pharmacy services are continuing to grow, so we are seeking a qualified individual interested in working in both medical and pharmacy settings. The organization will provide on-the-job training for the hired individual to obtain their pharmacy technician certification. Deadline for filing: Open until filled.

Requirements

• Medical Assistant: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program; certified or registered by AAMA, AMT, or other national accrediting body; minimum of one year’s medical assistance experience preferred (or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training). Must possess or be able to obtain within one year of hire, Pharmacy Technician certification.
• Licensed Practical Nurse: Graduation from a licensed practical nurse program with current and valid LPN licensure in South Dakota; minimum of one year’s clinical or hospital nursing care experience preferred (or equivalent combination). Prior experience with electronic medical record systems is desirable.

Benefits

• Hiring incentive of up to $4,000.

Pay

• Medical Assistant: $21.42 - $23.09 hourly
• Licensed Practical Nurse: $24.67 - $26.69 hourly
