Join our team as a rotating shift, full-time Urgent Care Medical Assistant (MA) or LMRT in Killeen, TX. Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services, a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality patient care and support daily clinical operations in an urgent care or clinic setting
• Perform administrative and clinical duties such as patient intake, vital signs, medication administration
• Perform radiologic imaging within the defined scope of practice
• Adhere to regulatory standards, patient safety protocols, and organizational policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Current Texas Limited Medical Radiology Technologist License (Medical Radiologic Technologist – Limited Certificate) which includes chest, upper and lower extremities (includes shoulder), spine, and pediatric categories
• Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited LMRT or NCT program
• Prior experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or outpatient clinical settings
