About the role
Join a high-energy pediatric primary care team supporting children and families in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role is hands-on, patient-facing, and focused primarily on rooming and vaccinations.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and prepare them for provider visits
- Administer vaccines
- Support clinical workflows in a high-volume setting
- Affix assist with basic scheduling (optional cross-training for interested team members)

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from a Medical Assistant program
- Certification in medical assisting from America Association of Medical Assistants (CMA), American Medical Technologists (RMA), National Health Career Association (CCMA), National Center for competency Testing (NCMA), and/or American Medical Certification Association (CMAC)
Skills
- Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and ADA
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
- TB validated (to administer or read) or validation obtained within 6 months of hire preferred
- Knowledge of Business Unit Quality Programs, Meaningful Use and Standard Work Programs and concepts within 6 months of hire
- Knowledge of standard laboratory and medical procedures
- Knowledge of insurance plans and third-party payers
- Basic math and accurate data collection and entry skills

Schedule
Full-time Alternating shifts: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Occasional weekend shifts available (optional, not assigned). No holiday requirements.
