About the role

Granger Medical Clinic is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant II to join their Riverton IM/Pediatrics/Sports Medicine Clinic. This is an immediate opening for a motivated and patient-focused individual.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and greet patients
  • Collect and maintain accurate patient demographic information
  • Obtain prior authorizations for medications and procedures
  • Prepare patients for examinations and provide providers with relevant information (lab results, vitals, medications, allergies)
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointments and care needs
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate courteously and effectively with patients
  • Typing/keyboarding proficiency of at least 40 WPM
  • Basic arithmetic, computer, and analytical skills
  • Dependable, flexible, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to assist others as needed
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to communicate professionally with physicians, staff, and patients
  • Must be bilingual in Spanish

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • A medical assistant certification is preferred

Pay

Competitive wages, potential for quarterly bonuses

Schedule

Four 10-hour shifts, Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm. Day off will vary due to staffing needs.
