About the role
The Medical Assistant II (MA II) performs basic clinical duties to prepare patients for Provider visits in an ambulatory clinic. Working under the general supervision of the Practice Manager, the MA II collaborates with the practice team to ensure efficient and effective operations while maintaining strict confidentiality of patient records, medical treatment, and diagnoses in accordance with practice policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for Provider visits by performing basic clinical duties in the ambulatory clinic setting.
- Collaborate with the practice team to support efficient and effective clinic operations.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient records, medical treatment, and diagnoses.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of the practice.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistance or comparable training program or two years of Medical Assistant experience in lieu of a training program.
- 1 to 2 years of Medical Assistant experience.
