ChristianaCare's Women's Health Silverside is seeking a professional, dependable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant I with strong communication, integrity, and solid technical and clinical skills. As a Medical Assistant I, you support physicians in virtual and on-site patient care, performing essential clinical and clerical duties to ensure quality care.

Schedule

Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities

• Greets and supports patients virtually and in person
• Prepares patients for visits
• Performs basic clinical tasks (e.g., testing, injections, EKGs)
• Assists with exams
• Maintains exam rooms and equipment
• Manages EMR updates
• Handles patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling
• Performs clerical duties
• Troubleshoots video visits
• Supports patient portal access

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required
• Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program OR hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
