About the role

The Medical Advantage at Milford is seeking a Medical Assistant I to support physicians in virtual and on-site patient care. Services provided include annual Medicare Wellness Visits, chronic disease management, medication review and management, coordination of care with specialists, and more.

Responsibilities

• Greet and support patients virtually and in person
• Prepare patients for visits, perform basic clinical tasks, assist with exams, and maintain exam rooms and equipment
• Manage EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling
• Handle clerical duties, troubleshoot video visits, and support patient portal access

Requirements

• A High School Graduate or GED
• A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the NCCA or ANSI

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required
• Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the NCCA or ANSI

Pay

Hourly Pay Range: $19.10 - $27.69

Schedule

Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
