Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the ages of patients served by their department.
• Demonstrates competency in applying these principles when providing individualized care to specific patients.
• Assists the MD/NP/PA in performing procedures.
• Operates, maintains, and calibrates all equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• A minimum of one year of experience is preferred as a Medical Assistant or EMT-Paramedic.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Provides age-specific care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Skills

• Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize one or more of the following: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Meditech, Epic, Performance Manager/NetLearning.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Effective communication and ability to interact tactfully with personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
• Flexibility, personal integrity, and ability to function effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

May be required to travel to satellite offices.

Pay

Minimum USD $17.83/Hr. Maximum USD $26.75/Hr.
