Medical Assistant I-Ambulatory care center
About the role
The Medical Assistant will serve at the ACC in Milford, DE. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but these may be adjusted according to operational and organizational needs.
Responsibilities
- Aid in clinical data collection and review for patient intake
- Ensure appropriate information is available to the provider
- Enter pertinent history in the medical record
- Perform and assist with clinical procedures as directed by the provider and per protocol
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant I: High School diploma or GED required. Must obtain BLS through AHA within 90 days. Completion of a certified Medical Assistant program or MA certification required (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA).
- Medical Assistant II: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant. High School diploma or GED required. Must obtain BLS through AHA within 90 days. Certification required (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA).
