A Day in the Life

You will complete clinical and administrative tasks within the clinic. You will work alongside the provider to make sure our patients are taken care of, and the clinic runs smoothly!

• Complete clinical tasks such as measuring patient weight, height, oxygen saturation, respiration, temperature, pulse (manual and automatic), blood pressure (manual and automatic), and other patient care which can vary based on clinic.
• Prepare patients according to clinic specific checklists or procedures.
• Document required patient care information including Medical Histories, referral requests, etc.
• Assist with day-to-day operations as required for optimal patient care which can include assisting fellow teammates and providers when necessary.

Qualifications

• CREDENTIALED MEDICAL ASSISTANT:
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred
  • Credentialed as a Medical Assistant from an approved Munson Healthcare Credentialing Organization
  • BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained
• NON-CREDENTIALED MEDICAL ASSISTANT:
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred
  • One year (1) relevant experience working in a physician practice or similar healthcare setting in a provider/patient support or Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program approved by Munson healthcare.
  • BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained
