The Medical Assistant role involves providing patient care, clerical support, environmental maintenance, and clinical assistance under supervision in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Managing patient flow
• Assisting with procedures
• Charting
• Scheduling
• Verifying insurance
• Ensuring infection control standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Medical Assistant training
• Active BLS certification
• Phlebotomy training/license
• At least one year of medical office experience

• PC proficiency (Excel, Word, EPIC)
• Ability to handle stress
• Experience in dermatology
• Ability to work collaboratively in small to large teams
• Handle sensitive interactions with tact
