- This role requires a high level of professionalism, as you will be working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care is provided.
- You will be expected to leverage your expertise in exam room preparation and supply maintenance to improve patient experiences and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits, including cleaning, sterilizing, and stocking all necessary medical supplies and equipment.
- Aid physicians during medical examinations, procedures, and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.
- Maintain an organized and efficient system for inventory management, ensuring all medical supplies and equipment are in stock and ready for use.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement strategies for improving patient care and satisfaction.
- Accurately record patient information, including medical histories, vital signs, and test results, in the electronic medical record system.
- Provide education and support to patients, answering questions regarding their medical condition, treatment plan, and overall health.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role within a healthcare setting.
- Certification from an accredited Medical Assisting Program is required.
- Proficiency in exam room preparation and supply maintenance.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and other healthcare technology.
- Ability to handle a high-stress environment and make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks efficiently.
- Current CPR certification.
- Korean speaking (if applicable).
