How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Welcoming and interviewing patients
- Accurately measuring and documenting vital signs
- Preparing examination rooms to ensure a smooth, comfortable visit
- Assisting with treatments as directed and supervised by the providers
- Performing select clinical duties and providing essential administrative support, including managing patient records, answering calls, and handling necessary charting
- Documenting provider-patient encounters, meticulously listing diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions
- Transcribing patient orders for lab work, testing, and medications
Minimum Requirements You’ll Need
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted. Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
