Location: 740 W Galbraith Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231

Schedule

Full-Time (80 hours bi-weekly) with Saturday morning rotation.

Requirements

  • High School Degree
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
  • Up to 1 year experience in a healthcare setting

Responsibilities

  • Assists the physician in examination and treatment of patients, performing miscellaneous delegated duties under the direction of physician
  • Interviews patients, measures vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records information on patients' charts
  • Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients
  • Performs EKG, injections, venipuncture, and common lab tests according to established CLIA guidelines and TriHealth policy
  • Cross-trained to perform duties enhancing efficiency and continuity of patient care
  • Works cooperatively within the team concept, demonstrating flexibility, motivation, and commitment to quality patient care
  • Exhibits professional image and behavior toward patients, visitors, physicians, and employees
  • Demonstrates flexibility and initiative in accepting additional assignments and learning new tasks
  • Exhibits dependability in attendance, punctuality, and timely performance of duties
  • Demonstrates proficiency in assisting with medical procedures on adults and children
  • Maintains safety and cleanliness of the treatment area
  • Demonstrates knowledge of clean and sterile procedures in the use of medical equipment
