Medical Assistant - Family Medicine

About the role

The Medical Assistant (MA-C) supports administrative and clinical duties, including scheduling, updating patient information in EPIC, and taking vital signs during appointments. This role promotes teamwork within a patient-centered environment that encourages career growth and leadership opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical tasks such as obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
• Assist with scheduling and updating patient records
• Contribute to delivering reliable, cost-effective, and compassionate healthcare

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited medical assistant program, registered apprenticeship, or military medical training; or at least one year of relevant healthcare experience with clinical skills
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum six months healthcare and medical assistant experience
• Preferred: National Medical Assistant Certification
