Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) - Neurology

Qualifications & Skills

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Relevant clinical experience is preferred.
• Certifications: CMA, RMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or NCCT are required.
• A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather patient information and perform medication reconciliation.
• Assist with point-of-care testing.
• Administer medications, support prescription refills, and document in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Coordinate referrals, obtain authorizations, and communicate with patients and healthcare entities.
• Provide patient instructions, education, and ensure clinic cleanliness and supply management.
