Peachtree Immediate Care, Georgia's leading urgent care provider, is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team at the Buford location. Schedule

  • Full-Time | Three, 12-hour shifts
  • Rotating Weekends
  • Regional Float Position | Lawrenceville North, Lawrenceville and Buford clinics

Responsibilities

  • Assist medical providers with patient care, exams, and minor procedures
  • Perform vital signs, document patient information, and ensure accurate medical records
  • Conduct lab tests, administer medications, and perform wound care as directed
  • Maintain exam rooms and medical equipment in a clean, safe condition
  • Support occupational health services and radiographic imaging where applicable
  • Ensure high levels of patient comfort, answering questions and addressing concerns
  • Follow safety and infection control protocols to maintain a healthy environment

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (certification preferred) or licensed as an LPN or EMT
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
  • Reliable transportation to travel between regional locations
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work in a team
  • Comfort in a fast-paced urgent care setting with varied medical responsibilities
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient or clinical setting (preferred but not required)

  • Hands-on, patient-facing role with a direct impact on patient health and well-being
  • Possible exposure to illnesses and medical situations typical of a healthcare environment
