About the role

Assists physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Schedules appointments and manages patient charts. Provides information to patients to help them utilize clinic services effectively.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and manages patient appointments
• Manages patient charts and records
• Provides patient information to facilitate care utilization
• Assists with environmental and organizational tasks as needed
• Supports physicians with clerical duties

Requirements

• High school diploma, some college preferred
• Minimum of one year work experience in public contact jobs, preferably service-related
• Maintain AHA BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program and hold Medical Assistant Certification
• Delivers outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence
• Sign on bonus of $1,500.00 for qualified, full-time candidates
