Medical Assistant, Certified (CMA) - Neurology

About the role

Centerpoint - Winchester, formerly Clark Regional Medical Center, offers a wide range of diverse services across its hospital and many sites of care, including 24/7 emergency services, primary and urgent care, imaging, cardiology and surgical services, women's and children's services, behavioral health, and physical rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office
• Take vital signs, document patient history, and update electronic health records (EHR)
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and administering medications or injections
• Perform basic lab tasks, prepare specimens, and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms
• Support front office and patient care coordination, including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient education

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred
• CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification required
• Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus with 6-month commitment
