Medical Assistant - Central Refill
About the role
This is an ON CALL Washington State Certified Medical Assistant position with the Central Refill team. On-Call is not eligible for benefits and there is no guarantee of hours. The role includes utilizing department protocols and workflows to refill medications, making phone calls, and assisting patients in scheduling appointments. This is an on-call opportunity with a varying schedule Monday through Friday; hours are not guaranteed.
Location
The VIC (18110 SE 34th Street - Vancouver, WA 98683). There is potential to transition to off-site work after successful completion of full-time, on-site training and meeting the requirements for working off-site.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Certification from a national certifying entity (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, etc.)
- Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Current healthcare provider BLS required
Remote work requirements
- Employee must live in the local Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR area
- Secure home network with minimum upload speed of 5 mbps and download speed of 25 mbps
Pay
Hiring range (with active Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant-Certified credential) is generally between $22.25-$27.45 per hour, with placement in the range depending on an evaluation of experience. An additional 5% differential is provided for on-call position status. Pay range: $21.81 - $30.53.
