Saint Luke's is offering a 10-week paid Medical Assistant Cohort Program designed to provide the education, hands-on training, and support needed to become a successful Medical Assistant. 📍 Featured Full-Time Opportunity Upon successful completion of the cohort, participants will transition into a full-time Medical Assistant position with Float Pool Central and East Region. This opportunity allows you to apply the skills learned during the program while becoming an integral part of a primary care team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Upon successful completion of the Medical Assistant Cohort Program, participants will transition into a full-time Medical Assistant Float Pool position supporting both the Central and East Regions. As a Tier 2 Float Pool Medical Assistant, you will provide coverage and support to multiple Saint Luke's Physician Group clinics throughout your assigned regions based on operational needs. Attendance is mandatory Monday through Friday throughout the entire 10-week cohort. Specific duties include pre-visit planning, rooming patients, obtaining vitals, documenting in the EMR, various clerical duties, administering medications, telephone screening (with protocols), phlebotomy (requires competency), assist with procedures, and duties as assigned based on clinic need. Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.
