Medical Assistant - Busy Orthopedic/Spine Office

Responsibilities

• Admit patients to exam rooms and ensure accurate medical documentation
• Prepare patients for exams, order tests, and assist doctors as necessary
• Perform various medical procedures, including splinting, bracing, and wound care
• Schedule surgeries, physical therapy, and order necessary tests
• Handle patient calls, prescription inquiries, and provide education on procedures

Requirements

• Compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
• Current Florida Medical Assistant Certification (or willing to obtain)
