Summary
Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office. Assists with performing patient care, monitors and communicates changes in patient conditions, documents patient care provided, maintains equipment and medical supplies, and performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Affords patient care under the direction and supervision of a provider or nurse, including performing basic clinical skills and specimen collection.
- Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
- Maintains examination areas.
- Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
- Takes appropriate action within scope of job, requiring critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Credentials: Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
- Experience: 3 years of Medical Assistant experience OR graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
- Licenses/Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.

Pay
$20.26 - $26.34 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
Schedule
Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks).
