Medical Assistant
Summary Of Position
The Medical Assistant works to ensure the highest quality virtual care experience for our members and clinical team. In conjunction with other clinicians, the Medical Assistant contributes to products and services that relate to the delivery of efficient virtual care to Teladoc Health members.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Administrative Duties:
- Reviewing intake records for completeness
- Transferring information to Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Scheduling appointments
- Assessing video readiness
- Communicating with other health care team members
- Communicating with members
- Maintaining health information in compliance with corporate and federal regulations
Clinical Duties:
- Taking full history including medications
- Documenting biometric screenings
- Identifying preventative measures needed
- EHR chart preparation prior to visit
- Aiding nursing staff in preparing care plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma required, 2+ years of college preferred
- 2+ years Medical Assistant Experience
- LPN/LVN, Nursing Student training helpful
- Customer service experience required
- EHR experience preferred
- Video conferencing experience preferred
- Proficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft software
- Strong time management skills
- Able to effectively manage multiple, competing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a high performing team
- Able to thrive in fast-paced work environment in a growing company
Required License or Credential
- Active Medical Assistant Certification
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $20 - 22/hourly. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements).

Teladoc Health Benefits 2026. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
Accrued Time Off
During your first year of service, you will accrue 5.84 hours of PTO for each bi-weekly pay period. In addition, you will receive 80 hours of Paid Sick, Safe, and Caregiver Leave annually.
