Location & Schedule

York, PA | Full Time | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Alternating Weekends

Pay

$15–$16 per hour, based on experience

Pyramid Healthcare is thrilled to invite a passionate Medical Assistant to join our incredible team in York, PA! In this full-time role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting our dedicated medical staff and guiding clients through their transformative recovery journeys. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills while making a significant impact in the behavioral healthcare field!

Key Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and assist with documentation and filing.
• Maintain and update client medical records.
• Support the admission process and obtain necessary consents.
• Assist with routine medical appointments.
• Take vital signs and collect urine screens, documenting for clinical review.
• Complete and monitor lab requisitions, reviewing results with the medical team.
• Support medication ordering and prior authorization processes.
• Schedule follow-up medical appointments and coordinate external referrals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the medical team.

Qualifications

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred: Medical Assistant degree or certification.
