Medical Assistant

About the role

Aegis/Pinnacle Treatment Centers is a leading provider of addiction treatment services. We treat over 35,000 patients daily and aim to support their recovery and community transformation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate medical services
• Create a positive patient experience
• Work as part of the intake team
• Observe urine samples for drug screens
• Package and transport samples for laboratory testing
• Communicate patient information to leadership
• Make appointments for patients
• Manage accounts receivable/accounts payable/ deposits
• Maintain and update medical records
• Coordinate appointments and run PDMP for patients
• Drop off lab work at a UPS drop-off location

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current medical assistant certificate or emergency medical technician certificate
• Experience as a medical assistant
• Maintain continuing education credits
• Preferred: Graduation from a post-secondary medical assisting education program, CNA, RMA, two years’ experience in behavioral health
• CPR certification

$18.50/per hour to $20.50/per hour
