How You'll Contribute
- Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office.
- Under the supervision of physicians or nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
- Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
- Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.
- Documents patient care given.
- Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
- Maintains examination areas.
- Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
- Other tasks as requested/assigned.
What We're Looking For
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Education: Required: High school diploma or equivalent; Graduate of accredited medical assistance program or equivalent
- Licenses: Required: CCMA, CMA or RMA
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) obtained within 60 days of hire
Schedule
- 5x8, Day shift, rotating weekends
