Medical Assistant

About the role

Hillside Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their growing clinical team. This role supports providers with patient care, clinical procedures, and ensures an excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vitals and medical histories
• Document patient information in EMR
• Auxiliary support for providers with exams and procedures
• Perform EKGs and basic clinical procedures
• Administer medications per provider order and training
• Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms
• Support patient flow and front office operations when needed

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required
• A current Medical Assistant certification is required
• One to three years of clinical experience is preferred
• Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential
• Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial
