Responsibilities

• Timely rooming of patients
• EMR documentation
• Message processing and documentation as needed
• Collaboration with providers, managers, and staff to ensure quality and cost-effective operations
• Establishing and maintaining good interpersonal relationships with patients, their families, the public, and coworkers
• Aiding in patient interactions and facilitating successful interactions with the practice team

Requirements

• Current Medical Assistant Certification or completion of a Medical Assistant Program
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Experience in a physician office and computer use
• Demonstrated ability to perform EKGS and obtain accurate vital signs
• Demonstrated competence in interpersonal and interprofessional relations
• Demonstrated commitment to collaborating with physicians to enhance patient care
• Demonstrated competence in acute care patient management/organization

Pay

$17.00-$23.00 per hour DOE
