About the role

The position at Crouse Medical Practice is designed to provide efficient and compassionate patient care under the supervision of the Clinical Manager. It involves rooming patients, EMR documentation, message processing, and assisting providers, managers, and staff to ensure quality and cost-effective operations.

Responsibilities

• Timely rooming of patients
• EMR documentation
• Message processing and documentation as needed
• Collaborate with providers, managers, and staff to promote quality and cost-effective operations
• Establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships with patients, their families, the public, and coworkers
• Aid in facilitating successful interactions with the practice team
• Reflect and carry forward the mission and goals of the practice both internally and throughout the community

Requirements

• Current Medical Assistant Certification or completion of a Medical Assistant Program
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Demonstrates ability to perform EKGS and obtain accurate vital signs both manually and with a vital sign monitor
• Experience in a physician office and computer use
• Demonstrated competence in interpersonal and intra professional relations
• Demonstrated commitment to collaboration with physicians to individualize and enhance patient care
• Demonstrated competence in acute care patient management/organization

Pay

The pay range for this position is $17.00-$23.00 per hour, DOE (Salary Determination Based on Experience).
